Denver Nuggets – Utah Jazz Head to Head
The Denver Nuggets hope they can force game 7 in the 1st round of the Western Conference matchup against Utah Jazz.
The Nuggets swept the regular season series 3-0 but this series has been much more different so far. Utah 3-1 lead melt in the last game most because of great Jamal Murray who had a clutch performance at the end scoring a phenomenal 42 points. Jokic shot 7 for 11 on threes adding 31 points in a great game 5 win.
Collectively in the playoffs, the Nuggets have averaged 114.2 points per game, shot 47% from the field and 43.2% from three-point range.
The Utah Jazz are just one win away from the 2nd round but they will need to work really hard to win for the 4th time in this series. Donovan Mitchell has been excellent, leading all NBA playoff scorers with 37.6 points per game after finishing with 30 points in game 5
Denver Nuggets – Utah Jazz Betting tips
Throughout this series against Utah, Nikola Jokic performs much better in terms of points and assists than rebounds. He grabs 7.9 rebounds in this entire series. The main reason is tough opponent on the other side Rudy Gobert but there is one big factor working to his advantage. Paul Milsap who is a great rebounder is not anymore in the starting five of Denver. Grant is also a good rebounder but it seems to me that Nikola has to put extra effort in this match under the rim.
